April 9, 2019- I hit so far under the ball on the tee that it popped up with backspin right into my hand. It was pretty remarkable.
Seriously though. I am going to do this drill until I retrain my brain.
I am first getting the right elbow into position: hyper-flexed, jutting into the hip bone or bumping against the belly. Then, I am extending the flexed right elbow (i.e. straightening the right arm) and pushing the hands down the line. I have not been extending (i.e. straightening) the arms properly and that is why I could never get my hands ahead of the ball at impact. It is also why my hips and torso did not turn well.
